Sky Watch Friday

Last February I spent a weekend in a small town named Torreira, close to the city of Aveiro . This town is a very small one and it has two kinds of views: one to the sea and on the opposite side, to the river - in this case, the "Ria de Aveiro".

Through my room window I could see the river so well and I knew that the sun would rise right there in front of my eyes. So, next morning I woke up at 6,30 a.m. - it was still dark - and prepare myself to a beautiful sunrise. These are two of a lot of photos I took on that day.

It was worth it!

Valeu a pena!

Fabulous shots! The earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books. mine's up too, hope you'll visit mine.

Of course it is always worth going to unknown towns or villages searching for their unknown treasures.
Great photos like these are even best than a pot of gold.
