ABC WEDNESDAY ... G

G is for GEOMETRIC
This is part of the rundown ceiling of a little Water House in Cabo Espichel.
It was ordered to be built in 1770 by our king D. Jose I.
It has the shape of an hexagon.
There is a fountain inside and stone benches by the walls.

Lovely choice for 'g'--and it just goes to show we can find beauty by just looking up. Enjoyed my visit to your blog and your music was lovely too.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your visit on my blog.
I visited your country a long time ago, and I enjoyed it -people were so kind!-and Art is awesome !
I love your geometric window !
The ceiling may be run down, but it's still interesting; I enlarged the photo to take a closer look.
Very nice "G" post, and like nonizamboni, I enjoyed the lovely music on your blog. Thanks!
Great photo! Makes me want to play the alphabet game. We did happen to post Girl Scouts today, by chance!!!!
I love your window! How perfect for today and thanks for the history as well. I have visited Portugal and loved it!
Fiquei espantada...não te conhecia aqui. Mas achei sempre que as tuas fotografias bem mereciam "andar pelo mundo"! Fico contente por encontrares uma alternativa às palavras (que congelam tantas vezes).
Fica bem.

A very original choice for 'G'! The water house sounds like a lovely peaceful place to sit and rest for a while.
On behalf of the team, thanks for taking part in ABC Wednesday this week! :)
Great picture, I love the shape of the window and the rundown ceiling gives it character. This week I went with geese. I just saw the first pair return. I invite you to come see. - Margy
